Rooms were small. But it was perfect for what we needed it for. Staff was friendly and so helpful. The lobby was a place you could just sit and relax and just take in the ambiance. It is not far from a streetcar stop which makes going back and forth from the hotel easy.

Stayed at citizenM Seattle South Lake Union and had a great experience overall. The location is super convenient — close to downtown, restaurants, and easy to get around on foot. The hotel has a modern, stylish vibe and feels very clean and well maintained. Rooms are small but smartly designed, and the bed was comfortable. I liked that everything in the room is controlled by an iPad — lights, temperature, and curtains. Staff were friendly and check-in was quick and easy. Only downside is the room size, especially if you have a lot of luggage, but that’s expected with this style of hotel. Overall, a great stay and good value for the location. Would stay again.

Very nice, safe location. Next Whole Foods and CVS. Up to 15 minute walking distance to everywhere needed. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very small but good for sleeping and changing clothes. Would have loved a tiny bit more space (50cm) for basic exercise without going to gym downstairs.

Despite being one of the smallest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in, this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything was clean and worked well. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are quiet. I slept really well every night I stayed here. There's plenty of room in the lobby area if you need a "living room" space. Super convenient location to public transit too. Staff here are all fantastic. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I stayed at CitizenM Downtown Seattle and the location is absolutely exceptional — right in the heart of everything. I didn’t need a car the entire trip since I could walk everywhere: downtown shops, restaurants, and even the Amazon campus. There’s a great boba tea spot right behind the hotel too, which was a fun bonus! The service was wonderful — someone greeted me right away, and check-in felt very futuristic. Everything runs through self-service kiosks and an in-room iPad that controls the lights, curtains, and TV. It definitely has that sleek, tech-forward vibe. When I called the front desk for flatter pillows, they were quick and accommodating, which I really appreciated. That said, the room size was much smaller than I expected. It honestly felt a bit like a capsule hotel — the bed spans the full width of the room, leaving very little walking space. The smart controls were also a little confusing; switching between “day,” “night,” and “relax” modes sometimes did the opposite of what I wanted. I’m fairly tech-comfortable, but I could see this being tricky for older travelers. Overall, it’s a clean, stylish, and convenient hotel with a fantastic location. But personally, I prefer a bit more breathing room, so I might look for something else next time I’m in Seattle.

We loved our stay at CitizenM. Although the room is on the smaller side, it had everything we needed, and the nighttime view was absolutely spectacular. The lighting gives the room a totally different vibe, we loved the tech features and the fun alarm options (it almost felt like a hatch alarm, but way better!). It’s something you just have to experience. While the hotel doesn’t have its own parking lot, there are spots available around the corner for about $30/day. It’s the parking garage for a nearby apartment building, and they allow CitizenM guests to use some of the spaces. There were plenty available when we arrived around 1 pm, though it was low season, so keep that in mind if you’re visiting during busier months. The staff was amazing, their coffee was incredible and included with breakfast until 11 am! Any specialty coffee you want. We highly recommend the matcha. Breakfast was $16 per day and absolutely worth it, waaay better than other buffets we’ve tried. They even had smoked salmon. And to top it all off, they surprised us with an engagement gift We were so touched! CitizenM has earned a place in our hearts, and we’ll definitely be looking for this hotel on our future travels.

Great hotel if you're traveling alone! Rooms are in the perfect size for one person and the common areas are great for remote work. Check in and out were easy, and sone of the staff are super helpful, while some are trying to avoid guests at all cost. Two issues I had during my stay, and were resolved promptly by the staff were stepping in a puddle of someone's urine in the elevator first thing in the morning, and the shower in my room leaking all night long and needed to be fixed so I can better sleep the following night. WiFi is great and allows zoom meetings. I didn't try their breakfast since the area has a lot of options, but did try the coffee that was good. Amazing location and design!

This was the first citizenM I’ve stayed at since the Marriott acquisition. The transition left me missing citizenM app and ease of usability within the room itself. Upon arrival, the check-in process was typical and similar to any citizenM process. In addition, as part of my citizenM membership/Marriott Gold Elite status match, I was given a 1 of 5 unique artworks hotel card and an envelope which included a scratch-off for a few different guaranteed prizes. (I won a complimentary tea or coffee which I didn’t use.) PROS: The location!! Very walkable, though the only place we really walked to was HEYTEA around the block for the end of the day treat. CONS: No on-site parking, but there’s plenty of nearby street parking with a big caveat. Sure, it’s free after 6 pm, but move it before 8 am or you’ll likely get a ticket. On the plus side, you can add 2 hours of parking for $2 to allow you a couple hours of added morning time. Be warned, if you come back in the afternoon or evening hours before 6 pm, it’s $9 for 2 hours max. Another thing, our room had some connectivity issues with the TV and would NOT display the QR code. The TV was incredibly slow and we only had access to handful of channels. We tried restarting multiple times and ultimately asking the staff to put in a maintenance ticket our first night. Despite our three nights stay, it was finally fixed on the morning of our 3rd day. We were finally able to stream Netflix and Youtube with minimal issues.
